International Men’s Day 2020
Following on from the successful International Men’s Day event held in November 2019 The Washington Group agreed with key partners to ensure that this day continues to be recognised on the Fylde Coast.
IMD will be held on Thursday 19th of November 2020.
It is vital during these difficult times of COVID19 that we listen to what young men are feeling and thinking about their home towns and their lives.
The three core themes for IMD 2020 are:
- Making a positive difference to the well-being and lives of young men
- Promoting a positive conversation about manhood and masculinity.
- Raising awareness of charities supporting young men’s well being

- Top tip of the day, what do I do to support my mental health well-being.
- How do I support my staff, mates, team or colleagues?
- I pledge to undertake an act of kindness in IMD month by checking in on my mates or family.
