International Women's Day Festival 2023

Our 5th Annual Fylde Coast International Women’s Day Festival will be taking place on 4th March 2023 at our usual venue of Blackpool Sixth Form College, with support from Blackpool Sixth Form, Lancashire Police and Crime Commissioner, Wyre and Fylde councils, Blackpool Transport and Nationwide Workwear, Beaverbrooks and Victrex.

We are now at capacity with the number of delegates, who this year will include young women and youth workers from all 4 of the home nations, making it truly international!

The official opening will take place at 10am with the final session concluding by 3:00 pm. Each delegate will attend 2 faciliated workshops in the morning in our themed festival ‘fields’. There will be various exhibitor stands in our Festival Marketplace, a Festival Gallery of inspirational role model displays created by the delegate groups, an illustrator to capture the day on canvas, a Q&A session with a panel of fabulous female role models, an IWD23 #embraceequity ‘montage’, music, delicious street food, and more.

It’s sure to be a day to remember!
