International Women's Day Festival 2020
On Saturday 7th March 2020 we are coming back to Blackpool 6th Form, with a bigger and brighter Festival, developing and enhancing the 2019 Festival, based on the amazing feedback. We have 30 role models each with their own unique story to tell. The role models are our Living Libraries. Each of their stories will be linked to a particular field and displayed all day for people to read their journey.

Everything you ever want to know about how you can save the environment and so much more. From interactive workshops, making your own environmental bath bombs to up-cycle and recycle clothes show.

Science is a woman’s best friend! A field filled with imagination, exploration, innovation. Workshops ranging from STEM activities, coding interactive sessions and science with a ‘kick’
This Woman Can Field – Fylde Council
The active field supporting young women to have a go at what they like. Find out what’s right for you! Get to meet and talk to Team GB female athletes. Interactive workshops ranging from training to be a lifeguard, archery, lazer shooting, outdoor survival, army assault course, climbing wall and many more
Happiness Field – Sponsored by: Lancashire County Council
Happiness and kindness make the world go round. A field providing workshops including, teach yourself kindness, positive affirmations, perfect bra fitting, Pilates, period poverty, social action, gender identity, keeping yourself safe and exploring music.

Sponsor the printing the Festival programme and interactive wristbands. Each young woman will wear the interactive wristbands which show a unique insight in each field and the workshops. You logo will show on each programme and wristband. Your business will be linked to all social media and there is opportunity to accompany The Washington Group to BBC Radio Lancashire and Lancashire Life features.
