Youth Support Worker
Job Title: Youth Support Worker
Line Manager: UYA Director
Hourly Rate: From JNC scale point 7, £12.50 per hour (depending on experience)
Weekly Hours: 16 hours per week
Purpose of the role:
This role is very much a development position. United Youth Alliance want to offer the opportunity for the right person to start or develop their youth worker journey here on the Fylde Coast.
The successful candidate will work alongside young people and community members to support a place-based approach to promote personal and social development, facilitate a community voice, influence and place in communities on the Fylde Coast.
This role will include the following:
To support Fylde Coast young men to explore ‘what it means to be a man’ within the community and to co create and plan a Young Men’s conference in November 2025.
To support the delivery of United Youth Alliance’s Coastal Social Action operational plan, with a key focus on developing a project for Young People who identify as male within Blackpool and the Fylde Coast.
To support the implementation of the United Youth Alliance Participation and leadership framework model to measure outcomes for young people.
