United Youth Alliance (UYA) Rebrand
Our New Logo
Our logo is a visual representation of our organisations promise and commitment building on voice, substance, quality and accountability.
“Rather than standing or speaking for young people, we need to stand with young people speaking for themselves. We don’t need a political movement for young people… we need to build environments and policies for our collective future.”
– Sandra Meucci
Our Future
The Washington Group (TWG) have successfully over the last 5 years worked alongside communities, to co-create key social action projects and action research, that brings people together to make the change they want to see. With that in mind we felt that now is the time to take the step forward into our next chapter.
As a group of practitioners we have reviewed our common purpose and agreed to be known as the United Youth Alliance.
Our substantive projects will remain unchanged as will our current contracted work. From August 2023 we will move forward into a direction of sustainable youth social action. Alongside this we will be overseeing the formation of a Coastal Social Action Group, Young Researchers Project, Community Development and will also deliver on inter-generational projects building on voice, substance, quality and accountability.
